HP Color LaserJet Pro M254 Printers - Printing Self-Test Pages

This document is for HP Color LaserJet Pro M254dw, M254dn, and M254nw.

This document contains instructions for printing self-test pages, including Configuration Report, Supplies Status Page, Network Summary page, Usage Page, and Service Page.

Print a Configuration Report

Print a Configuration Report for information about the printer, such as the serial number, memory usage, paper and copy settings, and printer usage. Wireless printer models also include information about the printer IP address and the network name (SSID).

Print a Configuration Report from the printer control panel.

1. Load plain paper into the main input tray, and then turn on the printer, if it is not on already.

2. On the printer control panel, press OK.

3. Press the right arrow to scroll to Reports, and then press OK.

4. Press the right arrow to scroll to Configuration Report, and then press OK.

   The Configuration Report prints.

1. Load plain paper into the main input tray, and then turn on the printer, if it is not on already.

2. From the home screen on the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup .

Print a Supplies Status page

Print a Supplies Status page for information about the estimated toner level, toner cartridge numbers, and printer usage.

1. Load plain paper into the main input tray, and then turn on the printer, if it is not on already.

2. On the printer control panel, press OK.

3. Press the right arrow to scroll to Reports, and then press OK.

4. Press the right arrow to scroll to Supplies Status, and then press OK.

   The Supplies Status page prints.

The Wireless Network Test Report contains information about the wireless connection status. It also indicates any wireless connectivity issues and might explain how to fix them.

2. On the printer control panel, press OK.

3. Press the right arrow to scroll to Self Diagnostics, and then press OK.

4. Press the right arrow to scroll to Run Wireless Test, and then press OK.

   The Wireless Network Test Report prints.
