    Nagraboy and gninnam like this.
  3. I always find it annoying when the system dictates the music. It's a sad fact the a lot of stuff is really badly made - a rip off frankly.

I do not understand what you mean?

Please expand as I have no idea what you are referring to?

    What is badly made?

edit: faff meaning play with… not implying an issue

  6. Not your records Tabs. For me, when recordings are badly (or even not vey well) produced they don't get played and it tends to skew the listening i.e. choosing the music to suit the system. It's just a product of a revealing system but the producers must know when the product is pants. Even never mind the bollocks is well made so there's no excuse for rubbish.

  10. this rubbish for example - someone has clearly gone out of their way to crush to original masters. You'd get away with it on a Sonos probably, or a car radio

  13. Anyone here familiar with Gus Seyffert? Specifically the stuff he's done himself, rather than work for or with others…

I encountered Hold On (and Make it Out) and now I just want to hear more. Only he hasn't done very much so now I'm looking for anything else like it. What genre is this even called? Searches for weird psychedelic hippy folk don't seem to do it :D

  14. King Tubby - The Dubmaster Presents The Roots of Dub & Dub From The Roots. Moll-Selekta 2LP

  15. Field Music - Measure. Vinyl

Still one of my all time top 10 this, just has something about it, after a couple of beers it could potentially be a later Beatles album IMO.

  16. I havent got the heart to open the cardboard bus as much as I'd like to to be frank.
The actual bus service I cant refer to as I am from Swansea, but a similar feeling comes through re. us city dwellers and the Gower coast.
The music is so evocative though.
  17. Been listening to Biosphere : Angels Flight most of the day on tidal, electronica/ambient techno
  18. Kevin Morby - A Night at the Little Los Angeles. Vinyl

4 Track demos from the sundowner album, probably a 'fans only' kind of deal, which thankfully I am so it sounds great.

  19. Dire Straits
